This is a 3-week online course.

In this class, you will learn to knit a beautiful house, and how to crochet and stitch unique embellishments to the knitted house. You will also learn how to free motion stitch a quilt upon which the knitted, crocheted, and embellished house can rest. There will also be wire and paper manipulation to create a hanging mechanism. For the second project, we will use our knitting skills to knit a super cute banner to which we can add crocheted and stitched embellishments as desired.

You will also have exclusive access to all of the videos and class-specific materials including:

• 3 weeks of creative instruction for knitting, crocheting, and free motion stitching
• weekly video tutorials
• photo sharing gallery

To get ready for class, please make sure you have the following items on hand before class begins:

• 1 skein of Sugar N Cream 100% cotton 4-ply cotton yarn in white (or other desired color)
• 1 skein of Sugar N Cream 100% cotton 4-ply cotton yarn in cream (or other desired color)
• 1 pair of Size 8 (8.0 mm) knitting needles
• 1 Size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook
• 1 piece of muslin or linen or other neutral fabric, 12 x 10 inches (30.48 x 25.4 cm)
• 1 piece of batting, 13 x 11 inches (33 x 27.94 cm)
• 3-ply hemp yarn, 3 ounces (if you prefer, crochet thread is also a good option)
• Fabric scraps and buttons
• Hand needle and thread
• Sheet music or other paper
• Tie wire, 16-gauge, 24 inches (60.96 cm)
• Spray adhesive
• Sewing machine that allows feed dogs to be lowered & darning foot (optional) NOTE: If you do not have a sewing machine and darning foot, you can elect to create the quilt portion by hand.
