Sculpted Art Dolls with Danita

Danita has upped her doll-making game and is returning to Studio Crescendoh with wonderful methods to teach you how to make new, even more beautiful dolls.

She has taken her handmade dolls and added unique details to them to make them even more amazing.

Join Danita on a two-day journey as she guides you as you give birth to a handmade fabric doll of your own, with a sculpted head and hand-cast arms and legs. She will guide you through the process of creating a head blank for your doll, sculpting it to create the face and then creating the soft fabric body and clothes that your doll will wear from your own designs.

This workshop is the perfect retreat for your artistic soul, in the company of the one and only Danita. And best of all, by the end of the workshop, you will get to take home a stunning one-of-a-kind doll.

SCHEDULE:

• Arrive & Settle: 9:00 :: Time for students to arrive, and settle in.
• Class Segment A: 9:30-12:00 :: Class time with Danita who will demonstrate and guide the 1st part of class.
• Lunch & Stroll: 12:00 PM :: You can choose to brown bag it or take a stroll to one of the many hip and artsy eateries in the historic Artist's Village in Santa Ana,like C4 Deli, Chapter One, and The Gypsy Den.
• Class Segment B: 1:30-4:30 PM :: Class time with Danita who will guide the 2nd part of class.
• Show & Tell, Clean-Up & Depart: 4:30-5:00 PM

SUPPLY LIST (Each Student should bring these items to class):

• Danita will have a limited number of original art items on hand for those interested in purchasing her art.
